Terms of Service

Thank you for using Scribbe! We’ve tried to make our terms easy to understand.

These Terms of Service constitute an agreement about your use of our App and and Site.

You agree that by accessing the App, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with all of these Terms of Service, then you should stop using the Scribbe. We may make changes to these Terms of Service at any time. You will be deemed to have been made aware of and to have accepted, the changes. We may deny access to and use of the Scribbe to any person for any reason.


1.0 Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the App is our proprietary property and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics (collectively, the “Content”) and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the “Marks”) are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.


2.0 Things You Should Not Do

We reserve the right to remove a user for any reason, subject to our discretion. As a user, you agree not to:

  1. Systematically retrieve data or other content from the App to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, compilation, database, or directory.
  2. Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the App.
  3. Mislead us or other users.
  4. Engage in any automated use of the system, such as data mining, robots, or similar data gathering tools.
  5. Copy or adapt the App’s software.
  6. Decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any of the App’s software.
  7. Use the App as part of any effort to compete with us.
  8. View the documents or listen to audio uploaded by other users without authorization.


We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that anything in Scribbe infringes upon any copyright you own or control, please immediately notify us. A copy of your Notification will be sent to the person who posted or stored the material addressed in the Notification. Please be advised that pursuant to federal law you may be held liable for damages if you make material misrepresentations in a Notification. Thus, if you are not sure that material located on Scribbe infringes your copyright, you should consider first contacting an attorney.

We do not assert any ownership over your uploads. You retain full ownership of all of your uploads and any intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights associated them. We have the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, to pre-screen or delete any uploads at any time and for any reason, without notice. We have no obligation to monitor your uploads and currently do not monitor them systematically.


4.0 Limitation of Liability

Scribbe is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. You agree that your use of it and our services will be at your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Scribbe and your use thereof.

In no event will we or our directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profit, lost revenue, loss of data, or other damages arising from your use of the Scribbe. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless, including our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of our respective officers, agents, partners, and employees, from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses, arising out of your use of Scribbe.

4.1 AI Limitation of Liability

AI technology is currently not capable of producing correct answers all of the time. Our software may produce transcripts, notes, summaries, or action items that are incorrect. By using it, you agree not to rely on AI created content for business or other decisions, and not to hold Scribbe, its creator, or employees liable for errors AI generated contents.
